My name is Andrea and I’m one of those “army brats” living in Germany as a civilian permanently. Currently 38 years young and getting younger with each year that passes… ;D

I’ve been “fairywitch” on the net since early 2001 and I claim the rights to that username lol. So, it’s fairywitch™ to you, thankyou. In the past few years I’ve seen other people starting to use it and I’m clearing up now that I don’t have a .com address, I don’t have an account at deviantart.com and I’m usually more active in the Sims Community.

Before the birth of my daughter and starting to play around with digital graphics, I was an outbound Sales Advisor which I, unfortunately, had to give up since it involved being away every week, usually for the whole week, residing more or less in hotels. I really enjoyed working with and advising the heads of the departments and the company felt like family. Most of all I enjoyed the “freedom” of the job. Now, I enjoy the freedom of being at home, being able to be here for my daughter, create digitally, sometimes paint and learn new tools for digital art.

creating digital art & graphics, drawing & painting, creating websites, creating in the world of 3d, films created in 3d, dancing, reading any book by Stephen King, musicals, science fiction and magical fantasy stories.

games:

basically, I will play any game with you whether it’s a board game or a computer game unless it has to do with zombies, guts and gore. Favourite board games are Scrabble and Monopoly.

I loved the adventure games LucasArts made. Old favourites PC games are Zak McKraken (was the first adventure game I ever played lol), Day of the Tentacle, Myst, Indiana Jones and my one and only true love that I wish had been continued, Monkey Island. I install Monkey Island every year once to play it again. The creativity in the riddles and the characters – all of it is fantastic and it’s so funny! Guybrush Theepwood is my hero! I don’t think a game will ever capture my attention again like Monkey Island did.

Other games I have thorougly enjoyed are The Settlers, Civilisation and, of course, The Sims 1. Now also The Sims 2 but to a lesser extent. The magic of The Sims 1 can never be replaced by it’s sequels.

music:

RnB, hiphop, some pop, rock and some classical music. Too many artists to mention but favourites I listen to often are definately Eminem, 50 Cent, P.Diddy, Akon, Missy Elliot etc and I love remixes! I love 50’s Rock & Roll and all the “magic” from that era that goes with it. If I could choose a time to live in, it would probably be then in the U.S.

films & tv series all-time favourites:

LOTR, Star Trek, Stargate, Indiana Jones, Riddick, RoboCop, Terminator, Alien, Batman, Spiderman, Superman, The Fifth Element, The X Files, X Men, CSI, Dr. House, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Monster Inc, The Incredibles, Barbie films (lol), Shrek, Robots … I absolutely love all dance musicals with Michael Flatley, i.e. Lord of the Dance, Riverdance and Feet of Flames.

books

Just about anything by Stephen King (I have quite the collection), Harry Potter, Discworld books, Mists of Avalon, Jane Eyre, The DaVinci Code, Ramses …
